Honey Balsamic Glazed Tofu is a flavorful and satisfying dish that combines the savory taste of tofu with a sweet and tangy honey-balsamic glaze. It’s a great option for vegetarians and vegans (using maple syrup or agave as a substitute for honey) and can be served as a main dish or as part of a larger meal.
Ingredients:
- 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, pressed and cubed
 - 2 tbsp olive oil
 - 2 tbsp honey
 - 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
 - 1 tbsp soy sauce
 - 1 clove garlic, minced
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 - 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for extra crispiness)
 - Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:
- If you prefer crispy tofu, toss the tofu cubes in cornstarch to coat lightly.
 - Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
 - Add the tofu cubes to the skillet and cook, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
 - In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
 - Pour the honey balsamic mixture over the tofu in the skillet, stirring to coat the tofu evenly.
 - Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened and glazed the tofu.
 - Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired, and serve hot.
